Water can contain impurities such as sand, clay, silt, iron combined with bad smells and colours compromising the use. Therefore, water is chlorinated and filtered with quartz sand. However, this treatment is not enough to remove colour, smell and excess chlorine in water.

Declor chlorine removers carry out an effective chlorine removing action by retaining those substances causing bad smell and taste. Declor chlroine removers also carry out an adsorbent action, retaining chemical pollutants of organic nature, such as pesticides, herbicides, detergents, phenols and other hydrocarbons.

The semi-permeable chlorine removing mass needs to be periodically washed and replaced according to water features with a maximum frequency of 6 months.

Declor Industrial clarifiers are manufactured in metallic carpentry. Backwashing is automatically carried out. The distribution system is made up of a plate with diffusers. The valves are pneumatic buttery valves and the system is controlled by GEL Electronic Filtering Timer.
